How can I make the call?
You
can do teleconferencing in two ways. You can use
“Meet Me”/ Dial-In teleconferencing
or Dial -Out teleconferencing. You can use “Meet
Me” or Dial-Out teleconferencing one at a
time.

What is “Meet Me” or Dial-In teleconferencing?
With
“Meet Me” or Dial-In teleconferencing,
you can set the time for everyone to dial-in and
join the teleconference. Just inform the participants
the time and day you want them to join the teleconference
and give them the toll-free and/or regular phone
number and a pass code. You will be given an individual
toll-free number, a regular phone number and a pass
code upon signup for a Bigfoot Call Conference account.
The toll-free number is for the participants from
US and Canada. The regular phone number is for non-US
and non-Canada participants. It will only cost you
(host) an affordable rate of US 15 cents/minute
per participant.
Example:
5 people talking for 30 minutes within US
US 15 cents x 30 mins x 5 = $22.5

Why do you assign a regular phone number for non-US
and non-Canada participants?
The
reason for this is because non-US and non-Canada
participants can’t call a US toll-free number. Participants
calling the regular phone number will have to pay
their own local carrier for the long distance call.

What is Dial-Out teleconferencing?
In
the Call Manager, you will have sole control of
the teleconference. Just enter the phone numbers
of the participants, press “Call Now”
and our system will automatically invite them to
join the teleconference. The host is charged US
15 cents/min per participant for US and Canada participants.
You (host) will pay the call charges based on the
Bigfoot call rates for international participants.
Call rates vary for each country but the same rates
are applied for day/night/weekend when the call
is made. Click

Do I get charged if the other party I’m dialing
is busy, does not answer or
reached a voicemail?
No, you will not be
charged if the other party is busy or does not answer.
If you’ve reached a voicemail box, the system
will ask you to press “1” to continue
the call. If you do not press “1” you
will not be charged for the call. However, if you
proceed, you will be charged for the call.
You
may also try using the “caret (^),”
feature. The host & the participants' numbers
can be prompted to use this feature. The audio prompt
requesting to press “1” will no longer
be heard but instead will hear a recording “your
conference call will begin as soon as we reach the
other party.” With the caret (^) feature,
the host is automatically billed if connected to
a voicemail.

How do I call international participants and what
are the rates?
To
make international calls, you can use “Dial-out”
conferencing (See above). Bigfoot Conference Call™
users in the U.S. can include conference call participants
from anywhere in the world and we work to find you
the best long distance rates. To view the rates

Remember
that for Dial-In conference calls where participants
dial into your conference call number and enter
a pass code to participate, international parties
can do exactly the same and they pay for the long
distance call. Either way, including international
participants is as easy as including domestic ones.

Yes,
but you must sign out after you’ve initiated
the conference call. Bigfoot Conference Call will
try to connect 3 times at 30-second intervals.
